Teufelsmauer (Devils wall) near Weddersleben

Yesterday I was driving through the Harz which is the highest mountain range in Northern Germany. Besides some beautiful medieval towns there is quite some nice landscape. One of the famous spots is the Teufelsmauer (Devils wall) near Weddersleben. It takes only about 10 minutes from the B6n to the parking lot close to Neinstedt. From that parking lot it is a 10 minutes walk until you get to the rock formation. The weather was quite nice and sunny with 12°C and some interesting clouds - just perfect for landscape photography.

Both images are taken with my 16-35mm lens using a polarizing filter to enhance the details in the sky.
